Mental Health and Well-being Lead at St Paul’s C of E Primary School

Philippa Turton (BA, PGCert, PGCE, MA), is the Mental Health and Well-being Lead at St Paul’s C of E Primary School in Longton (Stoke-On-Trent). Her other roles include Phonics Lead and Nursery Teacher. Philippa has also recently been appointed as a SLE (Specialist Lead in Education) in connection with Linden’s Teaching School Alliance for Mental Health and Well-being, Phonics and Early Years.

Philippa is in her fifth year of teaching, is a member of St Paul’s’ SLT (Senior Leadership Team) and is working towards her NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership).

With the support of her colleagues, St Paul’s has recently been awarded a Gold Carnegie School Mental Health Award in connection with Leeds Beckett University.
