Chelsea Sandbrook was born in Los Angeles, California and studied English at San Diego State University. She moved to London after an internship at The Writer’s Guild and fell into working in schools. Chelsea taught within a large federation of primary schools in East London before becoming an Assistant Head Teacher at a large Junior school in Lincoln. She has responsibility for Assessment and has transformed the assessment practices in her school using technology and innovation to decrease teacher workload and increase pupil outcomes. Her work in this field has recently been accredited as an ‘Area of Excellence’ by Challenge Partners. Chelsea has also recently won the ‘Project Manager of the Year’ award from Renaissance Learning and leads her school as a Centre of Assessment Excellence from GL Assessment. She supports other schools and leaders through national Peer Review and is the Challenge Partners Hub Manager for Lincolnshire.
